德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会 ‖ 中蒙合作-农业遥感技术培训班顺利举行

2022年7月4-5日,由中国科协指导并资助、德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会和蒙古国地理空间协会联合主办的“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心“中蒙合作农业遥感技术培训班”通过ZOOM会议系统顺利举行。本培训班还得到了中国地理信息产业协会国际交流与合作工作委员会、中国测绘学会教育工作委员会的支持。

7月4日的开班仪式由蒙古国地理空间协会首席信息官Ochirkhuyag Lkhamjav主持。首先,蒙古国地理空间协会主席B.Bayartungalag博士致辞,她对于线上参训人员表示热烈的欢迎,并对中国科协、中国地理信息产业协会国际交流与合作工作委员会、中国测绘学会教育工作委员会、德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会以及本课程主讲老师浙江大学环境与资源学院黄敬峰教授表示衷心的感谢。同时,她介绍了组织本培训课程的目的与意义,并欢迎广大地理信息领域的同仁参加今年10月3-7日即将在蒙古乌兰巴托举行的第43届亚洲遥感大会(ACRS2022)。随后,“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心主任、德清地理信息小镇科技工作者学会理事长、数联空间总裁倪涵介绍了“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心的现状与发展,特别是就与蒙古国地理空间协会共同建设好“一带一路”地理信息国际培训中心蒙古分中心并藉此推进中蒙地理信息领域的深度合作提出了积极的建议。

本课程由浙江大学环境与资源学院黄敬峰教授主讲,共分两次课,每次两课时,内容涉及到植物叶片和冠层的光谱特征、时间特性和植被指数等,特别就在农业领域的应用进行了深入的讨论。该课程的相关内容是国家自然科学基金和欧盟Erasmus+项目资助的研究成果,具有广泛的推广价值。黄教授的课程由武汉大学测绘遥感信息工程国家重点实验室博士生Zeeshan Afzal作为助教主持教学环节的相关工作。

Agricultural Remote Sensing


INTRODUCTION

In this course, the leaf and canopy spectral characteristics, Temporal characteristics, and vegetation index are discussed. Some application cases of remote sensing in agriculture are emphasized. The applications include planting area estimation, phenology detection, growth monitoring, agricultural disasters and yield prediction using remote sensing data.

The main content of this course is the outcome of projects “Dynamic estimation of paddy rice planting area coupling a prioriknowledge and deep learning” funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC 42171314)and “GIS and Remote Sensing for Sustainable Forestry and Ecology (598838-EPP-1-2018-EL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP)” of Erasmus+(201901-202212).


TARGET PARTICIPANTS

The target participants are mainly based in the countries that are part of the Belt and Road Initiative, who have a degree related to agriculture, including professionals that work in private industry or public agencies. Individuals who are interested in improving their knowledge in remote sensing application in agriculture are also encouraged to take this course. A basic knowledge of Remote Sensing is recommended. On completion, trainees will have their knowledge tested to determine whether the objectives of the training course have been realized.


AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Successful completion of this course will enable students to:


Have basic knowledge crop spectral characteristics at leaf and canopy scale, temporal characteristics, and vegetation index


Have advanced methods in crop planting area  estimation, phenology detection, growth monitoring, agricultural disasters, and yield prediction using remote sensing data


Be able to express the basic concepts and      operations described in this course in English, both orally and in written form.


TEACHING TEAM


微信图片_20220715135137.jpgProf. Dr. Jingfeng Huang got his BSc and MSc degrees in Applied Meteorology from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology in 1985 and 1990 respectively, PhD degree in Soil Science (Remote Sensing) from Zhejiang University in 2000.


Dr Huang is a Professor in College of Environmental and Resource Sciences, Zhejiang University. He has engaged in agricultural remote sensing and informatics research for more than 30 years. He has been PI for more than 60 national, provincial, ministerial and international scientific research projects. He also has authored or coauthored more than 300 publications. He has been granted with 2 national sci-tech advancement awards by the Chinese central government. He has supervised 38 MSc students and 39 PhD students.
