2025年9月23日,第五届世界生物圈保护区大会边会“保护地自然教育故事国际研讨会”在杭州举行。会上,“一带一路”国际科学组织联盟(ANSO)、中华人民共和国人与生物圈国家委员会(中国MAB)及国际动物学会(ISZS)联合发布了《自然教育国际合作倡议》,得到来自喀麦隆、智利、印度尼西亚、肯尼亚、马来西亚、尼泊尔、俄罗斯、塞内加尔、哈萨克斯坦、奥地利等20余个国家和国际组织的150多名代表的积极响应。
该倡议旨在推动自然教育国际实践分享与合作交流,呼吁将自然教育纳入全球生物圈保护区等保护地的战略行动计划及管理评估体系,总结推广富有本国特色的自然教育经验和做法,推动科技赋能为保护地提供前沿系统的自然教育方案,将自然教育国际合作转化为生态保护的创新动力,助力实现联合国教科文组织人与生物圈计划愿景,为构建地球生命共同体作出更大贡献。
Joint Release of the Initiative of International Cooperation on Nature Education for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature
On September 23, 2025, the International Seminar on Nature Education Stories in Protected Areas, a side event of the Fifth World Congress of Biosphere Reserves was held in Hangzhou, China. The Initiative of International Cooperation on Nature Education was joint released by the Alliance of National and International Science Organizations for the Belt and Road Regions (ANSO), the China National Committee for UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB China), and the International Society of Zoological Sciences (ISZS). More than 150 representatives from over 20 countries—including Cameroon, Chile, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Senegal, Kazakhstan, and Austria—as well as international organizations, attended the seminar and supported the initiative. This initiative aims to build consensus and highlight the significant role of international cooperation on nature education. It seeks to foster harmony between humans and nature by integrating nature education into protected area strategies and evaluation system, sharing local success practices worldwide, and empowering nature education through science and technology. Together, these actions will transform international cooperation in nature education into a powerful engine for ecological conservation innovation, advancing the vision of UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere Programme, and a shared future for all life on Earth.
